Holiday Shopping

It is that time of year again, Holiday Shopping.  If you are like me, it is December and you aren’t even close to being ready.  Hate the Mall?  Me too!  What to do?  Gun Show.  Come on, you know you are going anyway, they are a great source for gifts!  You can find something for almost anyone, young, old, pro or anti-gun.

I never advise buying a firearm for someone else, between individual preference, background check, registration, etc.  However, there are more gifts at the gun show than guns!  For the teenager in your life, a personal alarm they can hang on their backpack is a great safety gadget.  Or, in these dangerous times, you can get a ballistic pad that will fit in the backpack and offer protection.

Another gift that is great for almost anyone is a small tactical flashlight.  They are handy, bright and can be used for defense.  But when the lights go out, they are invaluable.  I’ve used me flashlight in parking garages, when I dropped my keys, walking home from the ball game (I shown it down and swung it a little crossing the street to make sure I was visible).

There is always a great selection of knives, from folders, to fixed blades, to throwing knives (which are a lot of fun, I use an archery target).

For those who share your Second Amendment leanings there is usually an awesome assortment of T-Shirts with fun sayings.  As well as hats, belt buckles, magnets, signs, patches…

If you have a shooter in your life, range bags, cleaning kits, spare magazines, speed loaders…all nice gifts.  We can never have too many.

Use your imagination, wander the aisles, you will find lots of gifts that will please everyone on your list, and you will have fun!
